Stardoll getting ahead of themselves?

When i decorate my suite unlike a lot of people i build up loads of furniture and then put the different themes into one room. I chose cosy colours for this room but because i built up this room over a long period of time there are a few problems...
1) Over time the furniture has increased it's size limit so some of my furniture can be huge but then some are permanently tiny in comparison. :'(
2) The graphics are different. I recently bought an LE chair (the one on the right of the picture) and it kinda stands out. There are shadows and shiny parts and it just doesn't work!
3) Furniture is getting over expensive. I don't know about you but i find it really annoying how expensive furniture is now. A few years back i got that curtain for 4sd or something but i had to pay 8sd for the fire. Also i payed 40sd for that LE chair, i am now regretting it because there is nowhere in my suite where it looks in place. This means if i want to show it off, i am going to have to buy a whole new set of furniture to put in a room just so that that chair looks good....?!
